Workforce and Occupational Readiness for Kids that are Special

A component of the student's transition services include an individually well-tailored "work-study" program. The students participate in a class to learn the necessary skills to participate in the workforce. The Job Placement Coordinator places students in jobs that fit their interest level. We provide a job coach, when necessary, and students receive financial compensation. We have placed students at florists, bike shops, virtual reality entertainment centers, restaurants, beauty supply stores, music stores, organic hydroponic farms, an auto body shop, and book stores just to name a few.
